John Crowley is a professional photographer based in Clonmel, Ireland. Along side his commercial photography he is involved in the creative and artistic uses of photography. John has been involved in both teaching (Tipperary Institute - Digital Photography and Photoshop) and exhibiting work. He has received recognition for both his B/W printing, Kodak Gold Awards 97 and 98, and his photography becoming the ESB Environmental Photographer of the Year (professional award) for 1998 and 2003. He has been involved in many group exhibitions including a two man show CHANGING TOWNSCAPE, a major exhibition in the South Tipperary County Museum with fellow photographer John Kelly in 2001. In 2005 his work was shown in Peoria, Illinois, USA as part of a cultural exchange between Clonmel and Peoria. His work has been featured on a number of web sites dedicated to fine photography.
